   कुछ तुर्कीवासियों को इस हदीथ प्रकल्प से काफी आशायें हैं जो कि अनेक भाषाओ तुर्की, अरबी और रूसी में इस वर्ष के अंत तक आने वाला है। एक राजनीतिक टिप्पणीकार तहा अक्योल की दृष्टि में एक क्रांति होने जा रही है। “ अन्य देशों में इस्लाम का सुधार या तो आधुनिकतावादी या अधिनायकवादी शासनों द्वारा हो रहा है परंतु तुर्की में यह सुधार मध्यवर्ग द्वारा किया जा रहा है। और यही वास्तविक सुधार है। एक और टिप्पणीकार मुस्तफा अक्योल के अनुसार संसोधित हदीथ “ मस्तिष्क बदलने की दिशा में एक कदम होगा”
8. Fadi Hakura of Chatham House goes further, calling the project “somewhat akin to the Christian Reformation.” He applauds the project being sponsored by the Justice and Development Party (AKP) of Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. AKP involvement means that “this reform movement is not being implemented by a secular group, but by the ruling [party, which] is very religious and conservative. So this is an authentic internal process of change.” Other observers are more skeptical. Hashim Hashimi, a former MP, for example, states that “There are established views on Islam and how it should be practiced that have been in place for 1400 years. And they aren't going to change any time soon.” Even the head of the ministry, Ali Bardakoğlu , acknowledges that “we are not reforming Islam; we are reforming ourselves.”
   अंकारा विश्वविद्यालय में हदीथ के वरिष्ठ प्रवक्ता और धार्मिक विषयों के उपाध्यक्ष मेहमट गोरमेज इसमें और भी जोड्ते हुए कहते हैं कि यह उद्देश्य पूरी तरह विद्वतपूर्ण है ताकि हदीथ को और बेहतर ढंग से समझा जा सके।“ हम हदीथ का नया संकलन करेंगे और यदि आवश्यक हुआ तो इसके पुनर्व्याख्या भी करेंगे”। अधिक विस्तृत रूप में गोरमेज ने व्याख्या की है, “ इस प्रकल्प की प्रेरणा इस्लाम के आधुनिकतावादी व्याख्याओं से ली गयी है.. हम इस्लाम के सकारात्मक पक्ष को सामने लाना चाहते हैं जो व्यक्तिगत सम्मान, मानवाधिकार, न्याय,नैतिकता, स्त्री के अधिकार और दूसरों के अधिकार को बढावा देता है”।
