   कुरान ने कहा था , “ अपनी सुंदरता और गहनों की अन्य लोगों के सामने नुमाइश न करों . ”
2. In speaking about all this , Badruddin pointed out that the whole rigid and elaborate purdah system was founded on the few generalities in the Quran , where women were told not to flaunt their beauty before man .
   इन सब बातों का जिक्र करते हुए बदरूद्दीन ने स्पष्ट किया कि यह सख़्त और विस्तृत पर्दा प्रथा कुरान में चर्चित कुछ सामान्य बातों पर आधारित थी , जिनके अंतगर्त महिलाओं को पुरूषों के सामने अपने सौदर्य की भडकीली नुमाइश को मना किया गया था .
