   जब वे एक लंबे समय तक इस प्रथा का पालन कर चुके तो नारायण ने उनके लिए यह विधान किया कि वे अपने मृतक और अग्नि के सुपुर्द करें और तभी से वे उन्हें जलाते आ रहे हैं ताकि दाह-क्रिया से उनके शरीर को कुछ भी बचा न रहे और हर प्रकार की अपवित्रता , गंदगी और गंध तत्काल नष्ट हो जाए और उसके शरीर का लेशमात्र भी शेष न रहे .
