   यदि एक उपयोक्ता का कोई परिभाषित फेस इमेज नहीं है, GDM “stockperson” आइकन वर्तमान GTK+ थीम में परिभाषित का प्रयोग करेगा. यदि कोई ऐसा चित्र नहीं परिभाषित है, DefaultFace के द्वारा निर्दिष्ट चित्र प्रयोग किया जायेगा. चित्र निश्चित रूप से एक gdk-pixbuf समर्थित प्रारूप है और फाइल को जरूर GDM उपयोक्ता के लिए पढ़ने योग्य होना चाहिए.
